nurturing resilience, fostering wellness

Hi, I'm Caisey!

(Pronouns: she/her/hers)

I'm a licensed therapist and I value providing a peaceful and supportive space for adults facing anxiety, trauma, disordered eating, major life transitions, and/or the emotional battle of reproductive health issues and infertility. I get that therapy can be difficult and even weird (ok... especially weird) and I make an intentional effort to create a warm space that allows for honest conversation, creativity, and vulnerability. I draw on a variety of evidence based therapeutic techniques, including EMDR, ACT, Psychodynamic therapy, DBT, and CBT.  Through a trauma trained and anti-diet lens, I utilize Intuitive Eating and Healthy at Every Size principles to help guide clients to make informed decisions about caring for their bodies' unique needs. My overall goal is to empower you to move forward in your healing - so you can live fully and authentically by reconnecting with both your mind and body. I invite you share your experiences, and together we can explore how my approach may be beneficial for you.

What to Expect at an Intake Session

At an intake session with me, you can expect a welcoming and supportive environment where you'll share your experiences and concerns. I will ask questions to better understand your background and the challenges you're facing, helping to lay the groundwork for a productive therapeutic relationship. It's important to know that you don't have to disclose any traumatic details during this session; the focus is on building trust and understanding your unique needs. Overall, this initial meeting is a crucial step towards achieving the life you desire.

Invest in Yourself

Therapy is an investment in yourself, your future, and your relationships. I seek to make mental health care affordable and accessible. I currently accept Blue Cross Blue Shield insurance, offer Superbills for all other out of network providers, and offer sliding scale fees when applicable.

You deserve to cultivate a positive relationship with your mind and body...even if that doesn't feel possible yet.
